Excursion to the suspension railway workshop in Wuppertal-Vohwinkel
Participants in the research project "UpTrain: Triale Weiterbildung - durchlässig, digital" and students of the Master's seminar "Aktuelle Themen im ÖPNV" visited the Schwebebahnwerkstadt in Wuppertal-Vohwinkel on Tuesday, 30.5.2023. Dr.-Ing. Christian Kindinger and Thomas Kampa impressively explained the tasks and processes of the globally unique facility in Wuppertal. During the Whitsun week, the participants of the continuing vocational training from a total of six transport companies are working on sustainable concepts for public transport together with students from BUW in a learning location cooperation at the Chair of Public Transport Systems and Mobility Management.
