Congratulations on your successful application for the Deutschlandstipendium: 13 students from the three departments of our faculty are among the BUW scholarship holders
On 14 November, the Deutschlandstipendium were awarded to students at the University of Wuppertal in a festive ceremony - including 13 scholarship holders from our faculty. We congratulate them on this great success!
The selection criteria - a mixture of motivation, social commitment and strong academic performance - were successfully fulfilled by students from the following degree programmes:
Architecture: 6 (1 Bachelor, 5 Master)
Civil Engineering: 6 (1 Bachelor's, 5 Master's)
Transport Engineering: 1 (Bachelor)
Particularly pleasing: 5 scholarship holders from our faculty have already won the Deutschlandstipendium several times in a row.
Another highlight of the event was Jana Bickel being awarded the ‘Volunteer Award for Special Commitment’. In a convincing pitch, the architecture student and scholarship holder presented the ‘Malteser Kältebusse’ project - an initiative that provides homeless people with hot meals, hygiene articles and counselling during the winter months.
We wish all scholarship holders an inspiring funding year with exciting workshops, excursions and networking events!
